The DV-03HPA is a compact, air-actuated balanced spool valve with stainless steel construction The DV-03HPA offers excellent process flexibility and is ideal for applying high-viscosity fluids that require high dispense pressures. It is uniquely suited for use with pail pump solutions that feed fluid into the dispensing equipment and for remote fluid reservoirs that result in high static pressures. The DV-03HPA is compatible with pressures up to 2,500 psi (172 bar), features high chemical resistance, is compatible with a variety of fluid formulations, and provides the flexibility to meet future dispensing needs. Maximum dispensing precision is delivered through a design that achieves cycle rates in excess of 400 actuations per minute. Users can select the optimal fluid pressure, actuation time for dots or robotic velocity for lines, and the appropriate dispense tip to optimize their process. The valve includes a combined adjustment feature that controls opening surge and suckbacks to enable consistent flow and to eliminate drips between dispensing routines. A variety of needles can be used with the DV-03HPA. A large (cone tip) needle with ¼” NPT thread is installed directly onto the fluid outlet. Smaller needles that provide higher resolution and precise fluid patterns can be installed using a matching adaptor. The DV-03HPA is composed of materials that not only minimize preventative maintenance, but also make it durable and compatible with a variety of fluid types. The valve body is precision machined from type 303 passivated stainless steel and the spool is made of hard chrome-plated stainless steel. To clean the fluid path, the lower section of the DV-03HPA is disassembled in a few simple steps providing full access to wetted parts.
