Utilizing Nordson ASYMTEK’s leading jetting technology, the SC-400 provides exceptional accuracy and control when coating small, densely populated assemblies that have strict keep-out zone requirements. This jet can reach areas that conventional applicators cannot access, reducing the need for masking, increasing throughput, and enhancing process repeatability. The SC-400 is fully compatible with the Select Coat® SL-940 and SL-1040 conformal coating platforms, and you can configure it as part of a multi-valve system to support hybrid coating strategies. Ultra-selective coating delivers 1.2 mm line widths, and 15 μm film builds with solvent-based materials, avoiding keep-out zones and reaching hard-to-access areas that spray and film coaters can’t.
