The DV-09 is an air-operated, adjustable needle valve The DV-09 dispenses low viscosity fluids for a variety of applications from a fraction of a microliter up to continuous stripes. The adjustable precision piston stroke feature controls fluid flow, and the low cavity design minimizes dead fluid volume, creates an even bead at the end of a dispensed line, and prevents the needle from dripping after dispensing. The valve is highly resistant to chemicals, is compatible with a variety of fluid formulations, and provides flexibility to meet future dispensing needs. Users can select the optimal fluid pressure, actuation time for dots or robotic velocity for lines, and the appropriate dispense tip to optimize their process. A variety of needle tips can be used with the DV-09. It is compatible with standard Nordson Luer needle tips and other brands that feature the same threads. The DV-09 is composed of materials that not only minimize preventative maintenance, but also make it durable and compatible with a variety of fluid types. The air cylinder body is precision machined from type 303 passivated stainless steel, and the spring-loaded Teflon® needle packings compensate for wear and significantly reduce maintenance downtime. To clean the fluid path, the lower section of the DV-09 is disassembled in a few simple steps providing full access to wetted parts.
