Users can upload inspection images, define classes, label samples, train models, and evaluate performance — all in one guided workflow optimized for visual inspection applications. By creating accurate ground truth labels, AI Hub enables the AI model to distinguish components, detect features, and classify or segment defects with precision. The result: faster project setup, higher inspection accuracy, and improved process repeatability and yield. Nordson AI Hub supports continuous improvement through local fine-tuning. As new inspection data is collected, users can update their datasets and retrain models to adapt to evolving products, materials, or process conditions. This data-centric approach ensures that models stay robust and accurate over time while maintaining all data securely within the factory network. With Nordson AI Hub, customers retain full control over their data and models. Models are securely encrypted and registered to the Nordson deployment server. Both the AI Hub software and trained models are license-controlled to ensure authorized use, version traceability, and data protection. Deployment integrates directly with Nordson inspection systems, delivering reliable and consistent AI performance. When ready to deploy the models will be registered to the deployment server, which is secured by the Nordson AI Runtime license. Deployed models are cross-compatible and can be used on AOI, AXI, MXI, AMI and BT systems – and a lot more.
